The stage was set, the time had come,
God’s gift to man His only Son.
Such love expressed and freely given,
illuminates all that’s hidden.
His total acceptance transforms our hearts,
the dark becomes light,
for each a new start.
With the past forgiven our future is bright,
His yoke is easy, any burden is light.
For the gift is Himself given freely each day,
His life, His love, As we each walk His way.
