Thank you Lord

Thank you Lord for my daughter each day.
Who lightens my path along life’s way.
My daughter who tries to understand,
Love and accept me just as I am.
Shares my sorrow and sometimes tears.
Who always helps by just being near.
Without need for words, can simply stand
Showing her love by the touch of her hand.
My daughter with whom I both work and play,
Care for others, worship You and pray.
For (……) Lord, my thanks to You.
May she be blessed her whole life through.
