Spirit of God at man’s new birth new life,

awaiting all upon the earth.
A gift so great to set men free,
to keep through to eternity.
Sharing our suffering, sorrow, tears,
knowing our thoughts of doubt, guilt, fears.
Watching, waiting, seeking to give,
with needs fulfilled we truly live.
His gift of love so deep and strong
creates new life with different songs.
Giving fresh standards, new desires
that lift, leads, teaches and inspires.
Becoming at last one with new life,
new hope at man’s new birth.man
willing to be part of God’s plan.
