Our Father

Our Father,
while shielding and protecting us
still challenges us to grow.
Provides for our needs, yet in- stills
the desire to achieve for ourselves.
Teaches by the example of his life
lived in relationship with others.
Extols the beauty of the present moment
while wisely planning for the future.
After listening carefully, surprises wonderfully,
giving abundantly.
Our Father, who loves us
and gave His Son for us.
His life which will flow on
from generation to generation, evermore.
