My Time

This is my time,
a time just for me.
For in order to give
I too must receive.
To be gently pampered,
renewed and restored,
Will make a difference
when I step out the door.
To return to the busyness
of life once more.
So I’ll let others give
that I too may receive.
I’ll take time to relax,
a time just for me.
