Love Cannot Fail

O bounteous giver of grace divine
within my heart thyself entwine.
Forever more thyself display
like sunlight, to a new born day.
Upon your servant gifts bestow
that I may share where’er I go.
Tower or hamlet, city or field,
whate’er thy will myself I yield.
That love may bind and blend in all,
through spring, summer, winter or fall.
To be as one, for all are thine
joined with patience of love divine.
All will be well for truth is so
love cannot fail whene’er it flows.
