Jesus said “Let the children come to me”

Let the children come
unencumbered by parents hate.
Let the children come
without societies rules to rigid,
with help too late.
Let the children come
with hope not filled with fear,
clinging on so tightly to all they think is dear.
Let all the children come,
every creed, colour and race,
giving to others the freedom
that they have found misplaced.
Let the children come
with joy, expectant, full of faith
in a loving heavenly Father,
to receive his love, with grace.
Let the children grow,
to be as only they can be
giving from their depth to all humanity.
Let the children sing,
rejoice and happily play,
depending on their Father
for all they need each day.
Let the children come together,
giving space and room for growth,
accepting one another as themselves,
to make the world a better place.
