Clothed in sweet simplicity.
Trusting; in loving arms of another.
Accepting all, as friend and brother.
Giving Himself,
Without thought of return,
Whether accepted, rejected or spurned.
God’s love given freely come what may.
To all humanity on Christmas day.
Peace on earth, goodwill to men,

Christ the gift, by heaven adored.
