From A Tiny Spark

From a tiny spark a fire grows,

at first it smoulders, then it glows

gradually catching others alight

till everyone is burning bright.

Fire is contagious so it spreads

and others to it’s warmth are led,

against the darkness of the night

fire sheds it’s most effective light.

To freely give out all it’s heat

fuel is needed to replete,

fire knows no boundaries, no defeat,

making all impurities sweet.

Till all around is stark and bare,

such utter devastation there,

but midst the ashes on the ground,

new life, new hope, new joy is found.
